So What Had Happened Was…

Yes this is the obligatory “I’m Back” blog post. I’ve been M.I.A. for a bit, but life has been both busy and kind of awesome! Since my last post in April one of the coolest things I’ve done is spend three months in Europe! I spent most of that time living in Spain which was amazing. And the geeky girl hits just keep on coming. That’s right, I got to go to the Warner Brother’s Harry Potter studio tour in London. It was amazing!

It was an amazing summer to say the least! I got back to the states in August and immediately interviewed for a job I’d been trying to get before I left for the summer. The good news is I got it! So in September I started working again full time. And to top it all off with a cherry I’ve also moved within the last few weeks.

So I’ve been kinda busy. And because of that there’s been little to no editing. The thing about my book is that even when I’m not working on it, I still think about it pretty much everyday. My iPhone voice memo app is full of ideas for dialogue and scene fixes. This book just won’t let me go, and I’m kind of grateful for that.

Now that my life is back in a normal rhythm, the editing shall commence…
